Simple Tortillas

Ingredients
2.5 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Tapioca Starch
1 cup Hot Water
5 Tbsp Olive Oil (or 4 Tbsp Coconut Oil)\
1 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Baking Powder
Preparation
Step 1
Add Flour, Tapioca Starch, Salt, and Baking Powder to Bowl mix.
Step 2
Pour Hot Water and Oil over top, and mix. Continue mixing until dough starts to form. (Using a Spatula or kneading by hand) Dough should begin to pull into a bowl without being to sticky. **You can sprinkle flour over top if too sticky to assist in mixing /kneading dough.
Step 3
Shape into ball and place in bowl. Cover , and let stand for 10-20 minutes.
Step 4
Divide dough into 9-13 equal parts (depending on tortilla size desired)
Roll out pieces on a floured surface, round flat shapes. **you want it thin, while not falling apart when you lift it to cook
Step 5
Heat frying pan on high. Once fully heated, add tortilla, Flipping after 30sec to 45sec, cook other side again for 30-45 sec and then remove from pan.
Continue until all tortillas have been cooked.
**You want tortillas golden brown, you can turn off heat every other tortilla, if they are beginning to brown too darkly, to avoid burning your tortillas.
