Honey Cinnamon Bread

About the Recipe

Simple Bread Recipe for an easy but delicious sweet bread!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Warm Water

  • 1 Packet Yeast

  • 2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil

  • 1/2 Cup Honey

  • 3 Tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 Tsp Salt

  • 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 Cups Flour

Preparation

Step 1


Mix Yeast and Warm Water in a bowl, stirring until fully blended




Step 2


Add Coconut Oil, Honey, Cinnamon and Salt; mix well




Step 3


Add 2 cups flour, mix well. Then add 2 more cups Flour (dough should be forming now, a little sticky)




Step 4


Slowly add in remaining Flour, 1/2 cup at a time, while Kneading the dough well.

**You do NOT need to use all the flour.. Continue adding until dough is minimally /barely sticky. Dough should feel soft , not mushy or wet. Form into a ball




Step 5


Lightly oil a bowl with a dash of coconut oil, and place dough in it. Lightly oil the top of the dough so it does not stick to bowl. Let rise for 1hr

**Rise time may vary give or take by 10-15min depending on temperature and humidity, it is done rising when it has about doubled in size.




Step 6


Gently push dough down and shape divide into two parts. Shape each part into a loaf shape and place each loaf in lightly oil bread pan to bake.




Step 7


Bake at 350F for 28min (ovens vary, may take 25-35min). Top should be golden brown and when you tap it should feel mostly firm.

Let cool for at least 10min before slicing.
