About the Recipe

A Classic American Dish

Ingredients

  • 60 oz Pinto Beans (7-8 Cups)

  • 1/4 Cup Molasses

  • 3 Tbsp Coconut Sugar

  • 2 Tbsp Honey

  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

  • 1 Tbsp Stone Ground Mustard

  • 1 Tbsp Mustard

  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

  • 1/2 Tsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder

Preparation

Step 1

Strain your beans. I soak my dry pinto beans over night in water and then cook them in the morning, but you can just as well use canned pinto beans . Set Beans aside.


Step 2

In a mixing bowl, blend together all other remaining ingredients until smooth. Add in beans, and gently mix


Step 3

Pour bowl into square baking dish and bake at 350 F for around 30min.
